Yes. Our guards are an excellent DIY project, as long as you are comfortable being on a ladder while using a power drill. Each guard takes (6) ½” #8 stainless steel zip screws, (3) located on the front edge, (3) located on the back flange. You will also require a way to cut the guard. I would recommend a chop saw with a metal cutting blade for accurate straight and angled cuts. Remember, before installation, your gutters and down spouts must be cleaned and fixed.

Our gutter guards are designed to require minimal maintenance. Regular inspections and removal of excess debris that has built up on top of the guard is recommended.  Excess debris can be washed off with a garden hose, swept off with a brush, or blown off with a blower.  Removal of excess debris ensures the free flow of water from your roof into the gutter and maintains the guard’s optimal performance.  A yearly inspection is sufficient for most properties.  Contact customer support if you require additional assistance.
